According to what i saw on the news tonight no you should not give a dog Tylenol at all. Do not give that to your dog. No, Ibuprofen is highly toxic to dogs and cats.

Can I give my 80 pound Labrador, Bayer aspirin for arthritis pain control? Has anyone tried giving their dogs Ibuprofen for joint pain. Aspirin is ok for dogs, but not for cats. Only give them aspirin. It's highly toxic to dogs and cats. To reduce stomach irritation, use buffered aspirin or give aspirin at mealtime. In addition, CNS depression, hypotension, ataxia, cardiac effects, and seizures can be seen. They are both toxic to dogs.
